You all worry about heat, drought, famine from dried-up, hot, desert-like Iowa and our coastal cities being flooded….

The evidence is clear. Cold, fresh water influx into the global thermohaline system causes an ICE AGE… We are not headed for a hot earth, we are headed for the worst ice age ever… shutting down the cycle now will induce an early start, and since the earth’s orbit is currently drawing it away from the sun and there are some astrophysical factors (relating to earth’s tilt, spin, and orbit… and possibly a magnetic polar shift) that are conspiring towards an ice age anyway, we could be in for a real WHOPPER of one…
Terminal Pleistocene megafloods like the Missoula Flood (the first ever fully studied) are now being recorded worldwide and freshwater influx from such floods at critical locations in the thermohaline system are being hypothesized to be responsible for something called the “Younger Dryas” with very good supporting evidence.
FUCK YOU all you people who think Al Gore was right in his predictions about global warming… you probably think he invented the Internet too… morons…
If you are so concerned with the environment. Pick up some more fucking books. Learn about the Earth’s history of climate change and what causes it and how it happens over millennia, and not decades or even just centuries. It was hotter in the 1700s and even warmer than that before than now you idiots (Try growing grapes in Scotland now Al Gore).
It’s really unimaginable how such floods could occur or how they could affect the oceans, but here is an animation and discussion of the failure of the Lake Missoula ice dam… and some photos and descriptions of the aftermath to give you an idea of the scale of these things…
