All I can say is that ….
Buck U hot sauce is the ultimate condiment for this fall’s Ohio State Buckeyes Football Tailgate parties…. of course, usBearcats couldn’t tailgate because we lived in the ‘hood…. but we can still celebrate through the Bucks, and hell, our Coach was once an offensive coordinator for the Bucks, so.. it stands to reason that U.C. now kicks ass in football…

Yes, that’s right, World in Flames… but why am I posting this box cover? Because they are making a computer version for release in (according to the most recent report) Late September. (update, its now scheduled for the first week in November… I hope its out by Christmas! -MPM)
It will feature PBEM, vs. AI, and hotseat play. It seems a damn thorough job and I have to say I’m drooling.
I would imagine it will cost in the $50.00 range (unsurprising for a project that has taken more than 10 years to develop!)
Those of you familiar with the “board” (actually huge maps) version of it will recall the rediculous complexity of the game, and this version includes the original game and many add-ons in its conception.
The only other way to play WiF without completely disabling the use of an entire room for days, weeks, months, or YEARS is to mount it on the wall, which, while extremely cool, involves printing out unit counter sheets and gluing 1.6 gillion game pieces to fleixible magnetic stock and cutting each one out. Even with a rolling cutter (you couldn’t use a paper-cutter) it takes ages… so… I’ll wait for the computer version.
