Inspired by Thrasher and many conversations with people who are always asking my “type” or “why do you prefer Asian women?” (and in my defense I clearly don’t have any racial preference (see below)), I have published MY laminated list, 2009 for your enjoyment.

Gillian Anderson — She pretty much has everything that suits my taste in women. I was never a big fan of The X-Files, but I watched it religiously just to catch glimpses of her. When people ask “what is your ‘type,’” I invariably answer “Gillian Anderson.”
Catherine Zeta Jones — Thrasher summed it up best. I would like to add that though her name is hyphenated Welsh, its the Zeta part that gives her the appeal she hold for me in looks…
Michelle Yeoh — I had not seen her until she appeared in a Bond movie. After that I became so enamored with her that I made a point of watching all her movies. Not only is she stunningly beautiful, she also has a class and sophistication that are rare in many Asian actresses today and she has a grace and beauty of movement that can almost certainly be attributed to her ability to completely mop the floor with mere mortals.
Beyoncé Knowles — I’m not sure why, but I think every time she appears, she looks just a little different, but its always totally awesome. I must say I’m quite disappointed that she married Jay-Z (As opposed to, say, me… or even some jobless, uneducated, beer swilling monkey-man; anyone but Jay-Z…), but one can’t have everything.
Winona Ryder — Yes, she’s a bit off-kilter from time to time (most of the time?) but from Heathers until now, she has just knocked my socks off. I think its the eyes and the sweet, yet, sexy look that seems perpetually plastered to her face.
Mimi Rogers — Another hottie I discovered through The X-Files (no wonder David Duchovny became a sex addict…) She looked so hot in that leather suit in Austin Powers, I about fainted.
Elizabeth Hurley — Yes, I like Bond girls, but there are too many of them. Elizabeth Hurley, however rounds out my favorite “Powers Girls.” Intelligent, sophisticated, gorgeous, forgiving. What a woman, the accent helps too.
Cindy Crawford — Been in love with Cindy since High School. The Superficial has a comment about her that she will be the hottest chick in the nursing home. She is aging nicely I must say. (She’ll be on here until I die.)
Cate Blanchett — Not only do I personally know a woman in Taiwan that looks like the Asian version of her (almost exactly, especially that look in her eyes and that inviting mouth…), I happen to think that she is totally awesome in every roll I’ve seen her in. Again, it’s her grace, her inviting but challenging look, and her intensity that drive my appeal for her.
Jessica Alba — I felt almost naughty watching Flipper. Now that she’s all growed up and legal-like, I gotta say WOW! Anyone that hot and mysterious-looking (her ethnicity is almost indeterminable), and anyone who can swim like she does and hold her breath that long (people who know me know what I am getting at) deserve an honored place on my list.

Ah, the “laminated list”… Popularized by the show Friends, the laminated list is a list containing the names of celebrities your partner will not hold against you should you get the opportunity to bed them.

While I’m not currently under the thumb of any such female, I thought it might be interesting to share who’s on mine.

Charisma Carpenter — This might seem an odd choice since the Buffy, Angel, and Veronica Mars alum isn’t even on most guys’ radar. All I know is that I fell in lust with her the first time I saw her, and I’ve yet to change my mind.
Michelle Pfeiffer — I don’t remember what I first saw her in, but Ms. Pfeiffer has been a stunner for as long as I can remember. While she’s the oldest woman on this list, I don’t think she’s lost anything over the years.
Catherine Zeta Jones — Much like Michael Douglas, when I watched The Mask of Zorro, my breath literally left my body. Unlike Mr. Douglas, I didn’t have the resources to track her down and marry her. Life isn’t fair…
Angelina Jolie — Yeah, yeah… Angelina’s on every straight guy’s list. But come on, we’re talking someone who’s only gotten better-looking with time. I didn’t think all that much of her in Hackers, but I couldn’t take my eyes off the screen during Mr. and Mrs. Smith.
Megan Fox — When Bumblebee got his hood lifted in the first Transformers movie, I got something of my own lifted. Seriously, those eyes, those lips, those abs, those huge… tracts of land. Megan’s got it all.
Famke Janssen — Whether playing a Bond villain or an X-Man, Famke’s tight bod and those “come get some” eyes could make a grown man cry.
Kate Beckinsale — You fell in love with her leather-clad Selene in the Underworld movies, but the corset in Van Helsing really took the cake. Add the British accent, and your toes curl.
Michelle Yeoh — This Asian superstar is another who’s maintained her allure over the years. In fact, I’m not sure time hasn’t stopped for her. Go back and watch Heroic Trio and then watch Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. There really isn’t much difference.
Dita Von Teese — Look, I don’t care if she banged Marilyn Manson for eight years, the reigning queen of burlesque is built like a brick shithouse, and I’d be willing to do things to her that’d probably get me life in prison.
Eva Mendes — If I have to explain why this sultry Latina is on this list, then you need to go rent a few of her movies.

MPM and I were discussing favorite movies, and we had a hard time limiting it to just 10. So, we thought you might be interesting in participating, too. So, just select your 10 favorite movies out of the following list of 25, and hit the Vote button.

Observations I

1) Its a good thing the Beatles weren’t Hawai’ian… if they were, “I don’t know why you say ‘Goodbye’ when I say ‘Hello’” would be “I don’t know why you say ‘Aloha’ when I say ‘Aloha.’”
2) The only two white guys to ever look good with dreadlocks were Al Jorgensen and Rob Zombie.
3) In general, in Asia, great tits means no ass, and great ass means no tits.
4) Supermarket pizza is EXCELLENT, but only if you supply the sauce, the cheese, and the topings…
p.s. and the crust…
5) It was a one way ticket to mediocrity, you could not really call heavy metal. Sammy Haggar is great, but Van Halen died in 1985. Eddy and Sammy: two great tastes that don’t go great together.
6) White Castle is a dish best served when you are intoxicated.
7) Like him or not, Obama has no clue what he is doing.
8) Liked him or not, Clinton at least played politics brilliantly.
10) Liked him or not, Bush Jr. scared the shit out of everybody.. including his own country.

After more than 20 “full release” relationships as well as numerous failed attempts from online dating, I have the following thoughts about online dating and the women that occupy it:

All women love nature and like having fun. All women claim to love dogs but own cats instead…
No woman wants someone who plays games (though it’s often unclear if THEY are alowed to play them).
All Filipinas want someone who is afraid of God (God-fearing), which is insane if God is love as Catholic and Protestant churches profess.
If you find an international woman online it is a better than 80% chance she is from a second world (developing) nation: China, The Philippines, Romania, Russia, Vietnam, Thailand…
Most women from North America GROSSLY underestimate their spherocity:
1. “Curvy” does NOT = big tits because you are fat. “Cow tits” = big tits because you are fat. J. Lo is curvy, but you are just FAT.
2. “Athletic and toned” does NOT = butch or “fat but working on it.” Gwen Stefani is athletic and toned. You are not.
3. “About average” does NOT = 5’4″ 165lbs. Which average are you talking about? The average person who eats the Grand Slam breakfast at Denny’s every morning, the world average, or the HEALTHY average?
4. I don’t think I need to cover “a few extra pounds”. 100 is more than “a few”.
5. “Big and beautiful”… come on. It’s nice that you’re proud of your appearance, but if you are FAT it’s a ridiculous category. It should just be called “lard-ass”.
Women don’t understand that being fat does not mean being unattractive, so they LIE (play a game) in their profile. I have dated, been extremely horny for, and had incredible sex with fat women. They don’t want game players, but they play a game in their profile. Not cool, not fair, they deserve to be lubed up, anal fucked, and left crying. (Did I say that out loud?)
Any woman who wants someone with a six-digit income is a gold-digger.
Any woman who believes in astrology is certifiably insane and will defend her beliefs to the DEATH.
Any woman who posts more than one photo of a cat is either desperate or bitchy… so it’s a crap-shoot.
If a woman asks you if you will move to their country it means “Will you come here, find some unrealistic job, and support my family? When you inevitably fail to live up to my unreasonably high expectations, I will divorce you and ruin your life.”
If the picture is blurry, it usually means she’s ugly, fat, or so shy she won’t put out.
If the picture was taken at a weird angle, she’s fat.
If there is no picture, just don’t bother. She’s either a bitch who wants to control everything, or she’s so ugly she’s ashamed. It’s okay to be ugly, you could be fucking awesome in bed, I have had great experiences with ugly women who later seemed beautiful to me (K.F. where are you?), but hiding makes you seem lame.
If she won’t talk about sex in the fourth chat or third long mail, she’s going to be difficult FOREVER.
If she doesn’t send photos, she’s a hag. You can only move one space per turn.
If a woman has kids and doesn’t admit it… run.
If a woman has kids, admits it, and says “I’m looking for a good father”… run.
If a woman has kids, admits it, and says “I’m looking for a good husband”, make sure it’s not about the money. If so… run.
If a woman has been recently divorced… run.
If a woman has been recently widowed… RUN LIKE HELL.
If YOU have been recently divorced, find a tart… not a real relationship.
If all you do is go for tarts, don’t try a real woman.
Keep a second cell-phone.
Keep a dummy e-mail account for web sites and contacts. Then if things work out, give the real one. Any reasonable person would understand your caution. Most online services provide e-mail, but it sucks. So set up a dating account, and then give the other one, explaining you used the other to prevent spam caused by the site. Everyone who is worth it should understand.
If you have children, please stop saying “they are my world.” We understand and hope that your kids are important to you, but we’d at least like a shot at being the second most important thing in your life.
Use the “Best Feature” option with caution:
1. Best feature: Tits = Fat.
2. Best feature: Hair = Fat.
3. Best feature: Eyes = Fat, maybe cute.
4. Best feature: Brain = Fat AND bitchy.
And if you want to claim ass, waist, or anything else, you’d better have decent pictures of the area in question to back it up.
I’m all for freedom of religion and spirituality, but if you mention God more than five times in your profile, you’re out.
